LumiHealth is a collaboration between HPB and Apple, as part of the country’s Smart Nation initiative, to leverage technology to encourage healthy lifestyle changes through a personalised programme.
LumiHealth focuses on the individual’s holistic health and wellness, including physical activity, mental wellbeing, sleep, nutrition, preventive screening, and vaccinations, plus regular updates on managing through the COVID-19 pandemic. The end goal is to support users in making meaningful changes to their health and well-being to deliver health benefits to citizens.
In this project, HPB is working with A*STAR to leverage the deep, continuous lifestyle data collected from the LumiHealth programme to better understand citizens’ needs and obtain novel insights which could be useful for designing future interventions. The project aims to enhance the effectiveness of HPB’s analysis of the deep sensor data collected from this programme. A*STAR researchers utilise their domain knowledge and experience in the areas of large-scale data preparation, integrative analysis based on combinations of specialised data types, and development of robust data and modelling pipelines.
