UOB and NUS Leverage Data Analytics to Understand Consumers’ Needs

Advancement in digital technologies over the years has transformed the banking industry. By embracing such digital technologies, banks are able to leverage on big data to identify changing trends and business imperatives. These forays have thus enabled banks to be more competitive and to improve their services to customers.

A key benefit of adopting such digital technologies stems from a more detailed and holistic understanding of consumers. This forms the crux for banks to provide more personalised and targeted solutions to meet their changing needs.

As such, collaboration between UOB and NUS researchers aims to develop predictive models that can harness the above benefit and thus, offer greater and more accurate insights into consumers’ needs.
